Photo Captions

Occasionally it is appropriate to add a caption to an image. It can speak directly to what is happening in a picture or who is being shown.

Captions are styled differently than regular text: they use thinner italic text. Because they are text, they are fully accessible to your visitors.

Example of a Caption:

How to Implement:

To add a caption to an image:

  1. Log into WordPress
  2. Select the page with the image you'd like to add a Caption to
  3. Click on the image and you two icons will appear: a mountain and a red circle with a bar through it.
  4. Click on the mountain icon.
  5. In the field marked ‘Caption’, add the text you'd like to have accompany the image
