Tabs

Tabs are a great way to relate various sections of information to your visitors, however, they are not another form of navigation.

Use of Tabs to navigate between layers of information within a section of the main content area is acceptable. Conversely, use of tabs to navigate between pages is strongly discouraged. Instead, use the navigation area to help visitors move around your site.

How to Implement:

Tabs may not display properly on your site if you have 'TheThe Slider' or 'TheThe Tabs and Accordions' plugins enabled.
  1. Log into WordPress
  2. Click on Plugins
  3. Search for 'Squelch Tabs and Accordions Shortcodes' and activate
  4. Select the page you’d like to add Tabs to
  5. Use the Text view to edit your content
  6. In the spot where you’d like to add your Tabs, use the following code (with your text replacing the Latin):
[tabs title="Tabs Title (but can be left blank)" disabled="false" collapsible="true" active="0" event="click"]
[tab title="Tab 0 Title"]Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.[/tab]
[tab title="Tab 1 Title"]Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.[/tab]
[tab title="Tab 2 Title"]Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.[/tab]
[/tabs]
‘active=’ indicates which Tab section is expanded when the page loads — the first section is ’0′, the second ’1′, etc.
